One thing that I love about Bala Vihar, is the community. As a community, we have all come together to learn our history- history which is a part of us. This history runs through each of our veins. It is not only history but culture too. We learn about holidays, cook traditional food, and wear traditional clothes. In these different ways, we have created a community to learn and gain knowledge. Additionally, as a community we not only give to each other, through teaching, but we also give to others. Every week families, parents and even kids come together to cook for the homeless. We are a community built on culture, history, and tradition. A community that thrives and helps other thrive too.
