The Bala Vihar infant class invites children 0-3 years old for a fun and immersive experience with parents! Between opening and closing prayers, the class practices singing, chanting, and dancing, along with group play with frequent toy rotations. Group play helps kids get comfortable with one another while we instill sharing and waiting their turn. Some yoga for little ones is also incorporated into the mix. Children are introduced to Hindu Gods via books and stuffed toys. Counting, and color identification while playing with toys and puzzles are seamlessly integrated. We also enjoy group walks through the trail when the sun comes out and you can see the sweet bonding that happens during that time. Closing prayers are always followed by a trip to Shadras kitchen to enjoy the delicious flavors prepared by our wonderful volunteers.
