Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda inaugurated our center on Father’s Day in 2014. Since then, Father’s Day has become a special day of celebration at Chinmaya Haridwar.
From braiding our hair and carrying us on their shoulders as kids, to picking us up from parties as teens, and offering guidance on cars, careers, and bills as adults—our dads have always been there. They do so much for us, and Father’s Day is the perfect time to honor them.
This year, Father’s Day falls on Sunday, June 15th. Across the country, people are thinking of heartfelt ways to show appreciation—and what better way than right here in our Chinmaya community?
Whether you’re celebrating a father, grandfather, stepfather, or a cherished father figure, let’s come together to express our gratitude. We’ll showcase our Bala Vihar learnings and wrap up the day with a special lunch in their honor. Let’s make it memorable!
