Let us all come together and pray to Lord Ganesha to remove all obstacles for the coming year to make it a very auspicious year. Traditionally at Chinmaya Mission Portland, expecting moms conduct (yajman) this puja as part of their “Garbha Samskara”. If you are an expecting mom (or dad) and would like to participate as a yajman, please reachout to contact[at]cmportland[dot]org at the earliest.
It is a part of Hindu Samskaras, the process of nurturing the fetus in the womb with positive influences, both spiritual and intellectual, in order to promote the overall well-being and development of the unborn child.
