Chinmaya Haridwar’s (Chinmaya Mission Portland)’s address is 3551 NE John Olsen Ave, Hillsboro, OR 97124. We are conveniently located directly across from the Hampton Inn & Suites and Embassy Suites by Hilton on Tanasbourne Drive in Hillsboro, Oregon.
We meet every Sunday during the school year (September through June) from 9:15AM to 12:00PM, unless we announced any schedule change for a particular Sunday in our Calendar page.
After the regular Bala Vihar/Study Group sessions, we offer optional activities such as Yoga, Vedic Chanting, Chinmaya Swaranjali, and Language classes. PLESE NOTE: The schedules for these optional activities will be determined by the coordinators and communicated directly to the participants.
Our Bala Vihar children also have the opportunity to participate in various volunteering and leadership activities, including tutoring migrant children in English, taking part in roadway cleanups, contributing to environmental and community initiatives, preparing meals for homeless shelters, and much more.
